ĀDISŌKE MAIN LEVEL TAKES SHAPE
Despite the snow and colder temperatures, major progress was made at the Ādisōke project site this winter. At the start of the new year, steel and concrete work to support the upper and lower levels of the underground parking garage was completed. The ramp connecting the upper and lower levels of the parking garage was also constructed.

In February, the main level of the facility began to take shape. Suspended concrete slabs for this first level of the building were poured and formed. The installation of site services (including watermain, sanitary and storm sewer lines) was also completed.

After months of underground work, the facility is beginning to emerge from the ground. Visitors to the area will notice that the structure is now visible from the street. Check out the photos below to see for yourself!

UPCOMING WORK
In the weeks ahead, concrete slabs for the first level of the facility will continue to be formed and poured. Columns to connect the L1 and L2 levels of the facility will also be poured. By late spring, we will see concrete pours on the second floor.

What transportation options will be available to get to Ādisōke? Will parking be available for vehicles and bicycles?
Located at the edge of Lebreton Flats, Ādisōke will be accessible to visitors by all modes of transportation. The location is a natural extension of Ottawa’s traditional downtown and is within walking distance of two light-rail transit stations (Pimisi and Lyon stations). It will also be connected to several pedestrian and cyclist pathways.
Ādisōke will also has a 200-space indoor parking garage, which includes 6 electrical vehicle charging stations. Ample parking will also be available for bicycles, with 40 spaces inside the building and over 100 spaces outside the facility.
